School Psychologist of the Year went to L’ara McAlister!


Outstanding Contributions to School Psychology went to Dr. Sarah Bassin Bruton!

Awards

School Psychologist of the Year 

  • The nominee must be a practicing school psychologist and a member of SCASP. 
  • The nominee must show outstanding service in the practice of school psychology.  
  • The nominee should have demonstrated notable effort(s) to expand the role of the school psychologist either locally or statewide. 
Outstanding Contributions in the Field of School Psychology 
  • The nominee must show outstanding service promoting the profession of school psychology. 
  • The nominee's contributions should show widespread efforts of work on a regional or statewide basis.  
  • The nominee should have demonstrated effort(s) to improve overall services to children through support and improvement of existing school psychology services. 

Outstanding Contributions in Education 

  • The nominee should be concerned with the profession of education in general. 
  • The nominee should have made notable contribution(s) to education in South Carolina which, directly or indirectly, have improved services to children.
