Introducing Member Circles: Ask, Share, and Connect with SC Colleagues

SCASP members now have members-only circles on scaspweb.org — spaces to ask colleagues questions, share resources, and connect between conferences.

Your SCASP membership now includes a members-only community, right here on scaspweb.org. We’re calling them member circles — dedicated spaces where South Carolina school psychologists can ask each other questions, share what works, and stay connected between conferences.

Three circles, open now

  • Ask a Colleague — Post the questions that don’t have textbook answers: a tricky eligibility decision, an assessment tool you’re weighing, how another district structures re-evaluations. Chances are, someone across the state has been there.
  • Resource Exchange — Built a parent handout you’re proud of? Found an intervention tracker that actually gets used? Share it with colleagues statewide — and the professional development committee will promote standout submissions into the member handout library.
  • Fall Conference 2026 — Talk sessions, logistics, and carpools ahead of the Legal Symposium on September 23 — and keep the conversation going after.

How to jump in

If you’re a current member, you’re already in — there’s nothing to sign up for. Log in, visit your Member Hub, and click “Explore the circles.” Everything shared in the circles stays members-only, and we ask everyone to keep student information de-identified.

Your membership, working harder

The circles join a growing set of member features: a members-only resource library and recorded professional development are on the way, and on our statewide job board, listings posted by members are automatically featured at the top.

Also new this month: the member directory — an opt-in way to find and connect with fellow members by region and area of practice. Nobody is listed unless they choose to be, and your email stays private unless you decide to share it. To add yourself — and set up your profile photo and bio while you’re at it — follow the quick guide to your member hub.
