The Aiken County Public School District (ACPSD), currently has full-time openings for school psychologists or school psychology interns. We have an urgent need for a part-time (2 days a week) position. Independent contractors are encouraged to contact Philip Young at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our K-12 district has more than 24,000 students and 42 schools. ACPSD offers a diverse, expanding portfolio of options—including neighborhood, charter, magnet, and Language Immersion schools. School psychologists play a critical role in supporting students and families in ACPSD. School Psychologists typically have a 2 school assignment, which allows them to engage in both prevention and intervention. We offer a competitive starting salary and full benefits. We value your expertise and provide plenty of support to early career school psychologists. Our school psychologists have leadership opportunities and can engage in a variety of special projects whether it be related to Autism, preschool services, behavior interventions, or alternative schools.
Pre-doctoral and post-doctoral supervision by licensed psychologists may also be available for those who will be seeking licensure as a psychologist through their state's Department of Occupational and Professional Licensing. In addition, BCBA supervision may also available.
Master's or Specialist degree in school psychology and eligibility for licensure as a school psychologist by the South Carolina State Office of Education. School psychology interns must be enrolled in a Master's or Specialist's Degree graduate program in school psychology and authorized by their university to complete an internship.
