School Psychologist (200 Days) (2026-2027)

Aiken County Public Schools is hiring a School Psychologist (200 Days) for 2026–2027. Interns will also be considered. Provides a full range of school psychological services to children ages 0–21, including screening and assessment, consultation with administration and teachers, participation on the multidisciplinary team to determine eligibility for special education services, student intervention teams, 504 eligibility meetings, functional behavior assessments, and developing behavior intervention plans.

Essential Duties

• Conduct psychological examinations of referred students; conduct FBAs and help develop behavior intervention plans.
• Provide intervention ideas to teachers and consultation to parents, teachers, staff, and community agencies.
• Participate on Student Intervention Teams and as a member of the IEP and/or Section 504 team.
• Conduct reevaluation reviews and evaluations according to established timelines; support schools in crisis situations.
• Adhere to the ethical standards of the profession and laws governing special education programs.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Educational Specialist degree in School Psychology plus internship.
• Valid South Carolina Teaching License in School Psychology.

Terms: 200 Days, 8 hours a day. Salary: $71,283.00–$110,346.00 Annually. Interns will be considered — email inquiries to the address below.
