Qualifications: Master’s degree plus 30 additional hours of graduate coursework in school psychology, supplemented by a one-year internship as a school psychologist, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities

Terms of Employment: 190-205 days per year
Salary Range: $45,166 – $71,228 per year

Lexington School District One
is seeking a certified school psychologist interested in a long-term substitute position for the first semester of the 2009/2010 school year.

Requires a Master’s + 30 or specialist degree in school psychology. Must possess state certification in school psychology; certification by the National Association of School Psychologists is desirable, but not required.

Responsibilities: Under limited supervision, provides a wide range of services to promote mental health, emotional/behavioral functioning, and educational progress for all students with and without disabilities; coordinates and consults with teachers, placement chairs, 504 chairs and Student Intervention Team chairpersons to design interventions, develop appropriate instructional goals and objectives, accommodations and modifications; performs related professional and administrative duties as required.
