South Carolina State Department of Education - This provides a link to the South Carolina State Department of Education website.
 

U.S. Department of Education - This provides a link to the United States Department of Education website. Within this website are numerous other links for teachers and other education professionals.

National Parent Information Network - Provides information and communications support to parents and parent support organizations.

Internet Resources for Special Children - This site is dedicated to communicating information relating to the needs of children with disabilities. This is done in order to:
  1. provide valuable information for parents, family members, caregivers, friends, educators, and medical professionals who interact with children who have disabilities;
  2. improve the environment for children with disabilities;
  3. create positive changes and enhance public awareness and knowledge of children with disabilities; and
  4. act as a central starting point for information and resources. This site is also contained within the disABILITIES Information and Resouces website listed below.

Special Education Resources on the Internet (SERI) - A collection of links to self-help pages, organized alphabetically by disorders.

Children and Adults with Attention Deficit Disorder - CHADD is a national organization that provides support, information, and resources for children and adults (and those working with them) who have an attention deficit disorder.

ERIC Connection - Access to the vast Education Resources Information Center.

Web Accessibility Standards and Guidelines - With all the information and resources available on the Internet, it is important that everyone be able to have access to them. This page has some good information and links on different disabilities and how accessibility applies.
